Damaged new Porsche GT4 RS. Refusing to pay. I’ve used Alex a number of times without issue or complaint. Unfortunately on a recent transport request to move my new Porsche GT4 RS. It suffered damage during transport loading. As it was reversed onto the trailer (without loading extensions) or front axle lift the front splitter scraped along the pavement and onto the lift. This was immediately noticeable from the audible scrape and visual flex of the front splitter. I had the vehicle checked on the receiving end which only confirmed my concern. Accidents happen, but what makes this incredibly disappointing is the lack of ownership of the issue. Instead I’ve been blamed for the damage! I am now doubting whether this outfit is actually insured. Furthermore Alex turned up two hours late for delivering the vehicle. What should have been an hour trip took several hours with no apology or explanation. Deeply disappointed. Will be taking further action to recover my losses. Avoid.

Short simple review. Avoid if you don't want your time wasted. After speaking to the owner on 16/01/26 to book an appointment to detail my car he agreed to come on 24/01/26. Text him to double check the day before and he didn't know what I was texting about. Calls and texts get ignored. Avoid if you dont want you time wasted. Screen shots of call logs and texts as proof.

Alex is a top man. Picked up my Lotus Elise with no hassle! Would use again!

ADL were recommended to me by a fellow member of a car club so I thought I’d try them out and wow they didn’t disappoint. My Transporter looks brand new very reasonably priced and excellent service and communication. I will definitely use them again and recommend their services.

I'd been looking for a valet and detailing service having been let down by another and was really impressed when I came across ADL Detailing on Instagram - they had a great portfolio and dealt with high end cars which seemed ideal given the type of paint used on my car, so I was really keen to try them That initial keenness has gone because trying to deal with Alex, the owner of ADL Detailing, is a nightmare. Constantly having to chase for clear information and communication. I had booked (although I received no booking confirmation) for detailing on scratches and told to arrive between 0930-1000. I had called the days before to confirm this - every time I'm told yes by Alex who had said he'd add the booking to their system/calendar. I arrive 0945, no-one's there and Alex is out of the country so can't reach him. Someone arrives about 1020 and doesn't know anything about the booking and also can't reach Alex. They tell me the person doing repairs won't be there till 11/1130. Alex had said if I dropped the car 0930 it would be done by 1230/1 (which was good because ideally I wanted to wait) I wasn't happy about that and left. It gave me a sinking feeling. Eventually I get a text from Alex and goes on to tell me he'd told his staff my car was getting dropped off 0930 but added his staff "haven't listened to me what so ever" and also apologized for any inconvenience. While an apology is nice it's not encouraging that his staff don't listen and seem to just show up whenever they feel like when Alex isn't there. The garage just falls apart when he isn't there? Something doesn't add up. I made sure to write/communcate clearly about what needs doing and I expect the same in return. I took my car elsewhere for the bodywork repairs but still needed a detailer for a long scratch so against my better judgement I contact Alex again to request detailing, enquire about PPF and a valet service. He replied saying reply will be slow as he's on the way home from Spain. That was four days ago at this point. There's slow and there's whatever this is. I've since contacted other Cardiff based detailers who have all replied promptly and professionally unlike ADL Detailing. I can't believe I considered leaving my car with them.

Arranged for my car to be transported by Alex- no issues at all and good communication. Will definitely use him again.

Fantastic service by Alex, Dropped my car in on Tuesday it was done by Thursday. So happy with it it looks and smells brand new, highly recommend will definitely be returning in the future thank you Alex

After researching several local car detailing companies, I chose Cardiff ADL on locality, price and portfolio of pictures published both on facebook and on the website. I am happy to say alex did an excellent job and I am very happy with the new car protection package applied to my car. This included a ceramic coat as well as internal protections applied. Excellent work and worth the money ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
