Pit Stop Hand Car Wash

I had an extremely disappointing experience, I went to them twice to wash my car and both times I scratched my car and they didn't even clean it properly. The staff are very rude and very lazy, I have the impression that they will fall asleep on my car with a towel in their hand, I tried to politely tell them about it and they didn't even apologize, they said that my car is bad and that I need to go to get a polish. I tried to go a third time and they categorically refused to wash my car again, maintaining that they will never do it again even if I come back in a year, I think they behaved so badly with me because I am a woman. I do not recommend this car wash, it is extremely bad, avoid it like the plague, Very disappointed.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I paid £24 for an inside and outside wash at Pitstop Car Wash and I’m genuinely shocked by the quality of the job. This was my first time using them because they’re local, but it will definitely be my last. The car looked clean at first glance because they’d sprayed some sort of gloss or dressing over everything, but once I looked properly, there was dirt, dust, marks and debris still left throughout the car. The hoovering was poor, with crumbs and dirt still visible in multiple areas. Even the door trims, storage compartments and interior plastics were left dirty. To make matters worse, I didn’t have time to properly inspect the car before leaving. If I had looked over it thoroughly at the time, I absolutely would have raised these issues there and then. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until later that I realised just how much had been missed. I also found marks and residue on both the interior and exterior that came off easily when I cleaned them myself afterwards. That tells me the problem wasn’t that the marks couldn’t be removed – it’s that the effort simply wasn’t put in. For £24, I expected a proper clean, not a quick spray-over to make the car look shiny from a distance. I ended up having to go over parts of the car myself when I got home, which completely defeats the purpose of paying for a valet service. There are plenty of other car washes that do a far better job for less money. I’ve paid less elsewhere and received a much more thorough clean, including proper hoovering and attention to detail. Unfortunately, this felt rushed, careless and poor value for money. A complete waste of £24, and I won’t be returning or recommending it to anyone

Bad car wash. Car was scratched after reusing cloths from the previous car and as you can see it’s as if the car wasn’t washed. Too bad I didn’t get out and check before driving off. Anyway - not worth a visit.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this car wash service. The quality of the work was absolutely pathetic. My car still had visible dirt and marks even after the wash, which clearly shows how careless the service was. What made the situation worse was the staff’s rude and unprofessional attitude when I tried to give polite feedback. Instead of listening or trying to fix the issue, they became defensive and dismissive. Customer service like this is completely unacceptable. If you cannot handle feedback and are not willing to provide proper service, you shouldn’t be running a business. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and money and go somewhere that actually values its customers.

Didn’t clean the car properly. There was crumbs on the seat and floor. The interior was wiped with a damp cloth and it should all over the screens and left wet marks in the inside of the car. Similarly the body of the car wast clean properly as dirt was showing at the bottom of the car. The windows had wet snarls from the wet cloth they tried clean/wipe the window. Terrible work

Poor quality cleaning products used and not diluted correctly leaving marks throughout the chrome trim on my car. Will take ages to buff out. Won't be going back here.

If I could give minus stars I definitely would. The guys there are soo lazy they just sprayed the foam on literally scrubbed for 5 seconds and walked off leaving one guy to jet wash my car. There was one other car and it looked worse than mine when finished there was gravel still stuck on every wheel. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE....

Good price. Loads of guys swarm over the car. Hoovered and cleaned inside and out.
